The final month of the year has snuck up on us and we are leaving November behind. Read on for deals, national news and company news.
Following concern over the new coronavirus variant, named Omicron, face masks have once again become mandatory in shops and on public transport. Places you'll now need your mask include buses, trains, supermarkets, retail shops, hairdressers, post offices and banks. The guidance has been issued by the government to reduce transmission risks of the new variant and came into effect on Tuesday 30th November 2021, with anyone found to be breaking these rules liable to face fines of up to £200. In secondary schools and higher education, staff, students and visitors are being advised to wear masks in communal areas. However, hospitality businesses such as pubs and restaurants are not required to ask staff or customers to wear face coverings whilst on the premises. Do these new rules affect you or your business? End of Year Clean

In Company News
A few months ago, you may remember us mentioning that we had managed to secure a new unit measuring over 6,000 square feet. In some exciting company news, over the coming weeks we will be moving stock into this new unit! It is located in Wimborne, Dorset. It's not too far from our current unit and offices so our delivery radius for our local customers will remain unaffected. The size of the unit really opens us up to new opportunities as a business and will allow us to hold more stock items, introduce new product lines and ultimately take on more customers. In the future we will be introducing a trade counter into the premises and, although this is not something that will be immediately available, we are looking forward to bringing in this new aspect of business that can improve the customer experience.
What's Coming up in December?
Christmas! It's the time of the year where people get together to celebrate. Whilst we are all very much looking forward to being able to celebrate more than last year, we would advise everyone to be cautious and safe whilst celebrating. We all know previous advice on staying safe (social distancing, washing and sanitising hands, etc) and it is down to all of us to do our bit and make sure we can have Christmas as planned.
Don't forget that there are two bank holidays in December - Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th December. We won't be in the office on those days, so make sure you're stocked up before the seasonal shutdown. You can still leave us a voicemail or email us with your enquiries and orders and they will be processed once we are back in the office on Wednesday 29th December 2021.
